However, when some customers use the laser pipe cutting machine, there are many burrs on the cut workpiece. Many people think that the quality of the equipment itself is problematic. is that so?
In fact, in the process of pipe processing, the parameter setting and gas purity of the laser pipe cutting machine will affect the processing quality. Using suitable and qualified gas, configuring the machine and adjusting parameters will prevent burrs from appearing on the cut workpiece.
Burrs are actually unwanted residual particles on the surface of metal materials. When the laser tube cutting machine processes the workpiece, the laser beam irradiates the surface of the workpiece, and the energy generated evaporates the surface of the workpiece to achieve the purpose of cutting. When cutting, the auxiliary gas will be used to quickly blow off the slag on the metal surface, so that the cutting section is smooth and burr-free. Different assist gases are used to cut different materials. If the gas is impure or the pressure is insufficient, resulting in a small flow rate, the slag will not be blown clean, and burrs will form.
Another reason is the equipment parameter setting, such as the incorrect upper and lower positions of the laser focus.
If the workpiece has burrs, it can be checked from the following aspects:
1. Whether the cutting gas is not pure enough, if not, replace high-quality cutting auxiliary gas.
2. If the laser focus position is correct, you need to test the focus position and adjust it according to the offset of the focus.
3. If the output power of the laser is sufficient, check whether the laser works normally. If so, observe whether the output value of the laser control button is correct, and adjust accordingly.
4. The cutting speed of the cutting machine is too slow, and the line speed needs to be increased during operation.
5. The long running time of the machine tool causes the machine to be unstable, and it is necessary to stop and restart the machine to rest.
