1.Preparation before operation

Personal protection:
·Wear special laser protection glasses (select the corresponding protection level according to the laser wavelength) to prevent direct or reflected laser rays from damaging the eyes.
·Wear long-sleeved work clothes and protective gloves (made of non-flammable materials) to avoid direct skin exposure to the laser or high-temperature areas.
·Hair should be tied up. Do not wear loose accessories (such as scarves, bracelets, etc.) to prevent them from getting caught in the equipment.

Site Requirements:
·The equipment should be installed in a well-ventilated, dry and dust-free environment, away from flammable and explosive materials.
·A safety warning line should be marked in the operation area to prohibit unauthorized personnel from entering.
Equipment Status:
·Check whether the laser cutting head, guide rails, transmission system and other components are functioning properly, ensuring there is no looseness, wear or abnormal sounds.
·Confirm that the cooling system (such as circulating water, fans) is operating normally to prevent the laser generator from overheating.
·Check whether the emergency stop button, safety door switch and other emergency devices are sensitive and reliable.

Material Compatibility:
·Only use the cutting materials permitted by the equipment (such as metal, acrylic, wood, etc.). It is strictly prohibited to cut materials that are flammable, explosive or highly reflective (such as mirror-surfaced stainless steel, aluminum foil), to prevent fires or damage to the laser device.
·Confirm that the materials are securely fixed to avoid displacement during the cutting process, which may cause danger.
Process Document:
·Prepare and verify the cutting procedures (such as power, speed, path) in advance to avoid equipment overload or material combustion due to incorrect parameters.

2.Operational Specifications

Startup and Debugging
Follow the equipment operation procedures to turn on the power supply, laser, cooling system, etc. one by one, and wait for the equipment to pass the self-check.
Perform manual or automatic calibration (such as focal adjustment, optical path calibration) to ensure cutting accuracy and safety.
During the debugging stage, the equipment should run at a low speed. Observe the equipment operation status and cutting effect, and confirm there are no abnormalities before proceeding with formal processing.
Operating Precautions
Full monitoring: Operators must not leave their posts without permission. They should closely observe the cutting process. If smoke from the material is detected, abnormal sounds from the equipment, or abnormal heating is observed, they should immediately press the emergency stop button and cut off the power supply.
Prohibition of touching: During equipment operation, it is strictly prohibited to open the safety protection door or touch the cutting area with hands to prevent laser burns or mechanical damage.
Fire prevention measures:
When cutting flammable materials, fire extinguishing equipment (such as dry powder fire extinguisher) should be equipped, and fire screens should be set up nearby.
Timely clean up the sparks, slag, and debris generated by the cutting process to avoid accumulation and fire.
Parameter adjustment: If it is necessary to modify the cutting parameters (such as power, speed), it should be done when the equipment is paused. Adjusting directly during operation is strictly prohibited.

Exceptional situation handling
Equipment failure: In case of laser abnormalities, control system malfunctions, or mechanical jams, the machine should be immediately shut down and professional maintenance personnel should be notified. Do not attempt to disassemble the equipment on your own.
Fire hazard: If you notice materials on fire, cut off the power supply first, then use fire extinguishing equipment to put out the fire. Do not use water directly to extinguish (a possible explosion may occur during metal cutting).
Injury to personnel: If there is laser burns or mechanical injuries, stop the operation immediately, provide initial first aid to the injured person (such as rinsing the burned area with cold water), and seek medical attention promptly.

3.Finalizing after the operation

Shutdown and Power Failure
Close the laser, control system and power supply in sequence. Wait until the equipment has completely stopped running and the cooling system has been turned off before leaving.
When the equipment is not used for a long time, cut off the main power supply and take measures to prevent dust and moisture from entering the equipment.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the residues and dust on the workbench. Use special tools (such as vacuum cleaners) to avoid dust flying and do not wipe the cutting head with your hands directly.
Check the transmission components such as guide rails and screws, add lubricating oil in time to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.
Regularly replace the cooling medium (such as circulating water), check if the laser lens is clean, and if there are stains, wipe it with a special cleaner.
Safety Record and Handover
Fill in the equipment operation log, recording the operation time, material type, parameter settings and abnormal situations to facilitate traceability and maintenance.
During shift handover, explain the equipment status and precautions to the successor, ensuring clear information transmission.

By strictly adhering to the above safety regulations, the operational risks of the laser cutting machine can be effectively reduced, ensuring the safety of personnel and the stable operation of the equipment.
